Overall it was a wonderful experience the workers were extremely nice, funny, and very motivating when I was nervous they made me very comfortable and were just amazing people! As we made it up the mountain we got a very interesting tour on the history of the island you could tell they put lots of research into it, the zipline was absolutely amazing, with amazing views and adrenaline rushes! I 10/10 recommended this to anyone who is visiting the island you wont regret it, will definitely be doing it again next visit!
I’d say this experience is a must-try. I wanted a view of the island on my short stop and this was an awesome way to get it! Wicked view of the main bay including Phillipsburg and neighboring islands like St Barts, fun ride to the top of the hill and awesome zip-line back to the bottom. Staff were nice too – I liked the tidbits on the local history of what we were seeing. Total time about 45 mins – 1 hour.
I had an extra hour free while I was in Philipsburg so I went to Dock Maarten to try the new Zip Line. It was AWESOME!! Staff were super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. And they made it a lot of fun – I was a bit nervous to be honest but they put me at ease right away. The exhilaration of flying over the road then having water all around and the cruise ships to my left with the horizon and sunset out in front of me while I flew through the air was really amazing. Can’t wait to do it again with my kids! Great Job Pelican Peak team!!! See you again soon…
We are family with children 11 & 8, very professional and views we hadn’t seen anywhere in the Carribean before, staff were very knowledgeable and there was some surprising history we learned about the area, zipline was the highlight for sure!
The Plant A Million Corals Campaign
Days after we broke ground on Pelican Peak, St. Maarten was hit by Irma, the most intense hurricane ever recorded in the island’s history. In addition to massive land damage our island also lost 80% of its coral population. While this could be a story of doom, some of the sharpest minds in science, business and communication have come together to change how the story ends.
The Plant a Million Coral campaign is just a small part on how we are working to keep #SXMSTRONG.
